Dr. Dushyant N. Patel is a Board-Certified internist, trained at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI where he had extensive training in Internal Medicine and Subspecialties as well as Emergency Medicine. Dr. Patel graduated from the prestigious M.S. University of Baroda Medical College in Baroda (India) after being invited for the admission to the medical college based on Academic High Honors (and Distinction including his ranking 1st in Physics) in his Pre-Science College at the S.P. University in Gujarat, India. Dr. Patel passed all relevant medical exams on his first attempt including his Board Certification in the U.S.A.

An elderly patient came to Dr. Patel from another primary care physician, after he was referred by his wife and son to our office, with a history of Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, high Cholesterol and joint pains for over one year. While patient had osteoarthritis, Dr. Patel evaluated him and diagnosed him to have hyperuricemia. After he was treated for gout his joint pains resolved indicating that he had significant component of gout causing the joint pains.
